Product Designer · AI & Healthcare
I shape products that simplify complexity and build trust. Today I lead design and strategy across the AI teams at Spring Health. Previously, I was the founding product designer at Firefly Health, and held design roles at Turo, Wayfair, and other mission-driven companies.
Led the strategic shift from isolated AI features to a unified, continuous care experience — from early experiments validating AI-driven bookings to a 0→1 product vision now shaping Spring Health's roadmap.
Built a member-facing experience to maintain therapeutic progress between therapy sessions — combining clinically validated check-ins, exercises, and crisis pathways into a single cohesive product.
Designed a first-of-its-kind product addressing social determinants of health — connecting members to community resources across all 50 states and advancing mental health equity at scale.
Diagnosed a critical usability failure in Turo's core navigation and led a full redesign — restructuring information architecture and interaction patterns to dramatically improve task completion rates.
About
— Dieter Rams
My work sits at the intersection of complex systems and human need. Whether designing AI-powered tools for members or navigation flows for a marketplace with millions of users, the question is always the same: what does this person actually need, and what gets in the way?
I lead with research, move with intention, and care deeply about the craft at every layer — from system architecture down to the micro-copy on a single button. I've built 0→1 products, scaled design teams, and learned that the most durable design decisions come from the clearest understanding of context.
Currently based in Portland, Oregon.
